Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Old Town Scottsdale

Great anniversary dinner! We sat on the patio and I was concerned it would be cool, but the heaters worked great. We started with Oysters Rockefeller and the Porkbelly. Then we split the bone in ribeye and added the flambé, which was not only fun, but added a delicious flavor. We really liked the unique salts they provide to add to your dish. We finished with the Chocolate cake. Perfect!

I had a little bit of an issue with my first experience there on January 24 for my wife’s birthday. I called back and spoke to Amber Who said she would accommodate me on my new reservations for Valentines. Me and my wife showed up a little early and she sat us right away. We got our rooftop table and the experience was great. Food was very good and Jacob our server was very busy but always kept us updated on Our food and Was very helpful with the menu. Had a great time will return again. Thank you Amber up at the roof top check In desk your the bomb I really appreciate your assistance and great service they might want to Consider cloning you and replacing another person like you at their bottom check in desk🤔😂 Thanks again for making my trip up from Casa Grande and spending a nice dinner with my wife a memorable one!

Second time here, once again a winner. We even ended up with the same server, Torrey, and she also was once again fantastic! We were there for the Valentine's Day pre-fixe menu and enjoyed it immensely. We had the chopped salad, clam chowder, meatloaf (amazing!!) and bananas foster bread pudding. Walked out pleasantly full, not grossly overstuffed, with some leftover meatloaf for a weekend lunch -and it is excellent as leftovers. We will keep coming back!

The Ends is an incredible restaurant. I love that they don’t use any seed oils and instead focus on cooking with tallow. The food is amazing, and I think their pasta is better than any Italian restaurant here in the Valley. I know everyone says this, but the Cacio e Pepe is definitely something to write home about. It’s really, really good. Almost equivalent to the one I had at Osteria Da Fortunata in Rome. The thick noodles and sauce are very similar. Absolutely delicious. We also had the mushroom pasta, meatballs, Hamachi crudo, and beet burrata. All excellent. The only downside was that they were out of multiple dishes, which was a bit disappointing. However, they made it up to us by giving us a $45 gift card, which we appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Another wonderful dinner at Olive & Ivy! We ordered the crispy brussels sprouts as and appetizer and it was an excellent start. We also split a beet salad, and it didn’t disappoint for those who love beets. My wife then ordered the chicken scallopini and she loved it. I dined on the filet and it was cooked perfectly. The sauce was delicious and the scalloped potatoes which accompanied the steak made it a totally enjoyable meal. Service was again outstanding. Certainly will be going back during our stay in the Scottsdale area.
