Grand Street Cafe has a level of food quality that is top tier! I've been a customer for over a decade and I've never had a bad food experience! This was a belated Valentines Day dinner and it didn't disappoint! Everything from my appetizer, salad, and main course was excellent! As an added value the cost was very affordable especially for the quality of the meal! I will most definitely be back!

Ryan took good care of us! Much appreciated. A little noisy in our section, but mainly because of one loud couple. Would love to see a better selection of wine by the glass for such a nice restaurant. There wasn’t even one California Chardonnay to choose from. Thank you, Carolyn Loew

I started with the lobster bisque, which was rich, creamy, and full of deep seafood flavors. It had a smooth texture with just the right balance of seasoning. Next, I tried the sweet potato soup, which was a pleasant surprise—velvety, slightly sweet, and well-spiced, making it a comforting and flavorful choice. For the main course, I had the salmon, which was perfectly cooked—moist on the inside with a beautifully crisp exterior. The seasoning complemented the natural flavor of the fish without overpowering it. The dish was well-plated and paired nicely with the sides. Overall, the service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff. Grunauer truly delivers on quality and flavor, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a refined yet hearty dining experience in Kansas City. I’ll definitely be returning!

The reason to visit Toms Town distillery is for their amazing cocktails. The food is good but not the same level as the cocktails. The atmosphere is cozy and laidback. The service was excellent.

We had a wonderful dinner experience! The truffle fries were perfectly crisp with soft centers and seasoned well. The shrimp and grits and steak salad were delicious and generously portioned.
