Umi Sake House is a unique Japanese cuisine restaurant in the Belltown area of Seattle featuring the highest quality seafood available in the Northwest, a large izakaya-style tapas menu, and boasting a sake list of over 60 imported Japanese bottles.     Great experience but smaller portion sizes. I do think the food is a bit on the pricier high end side.  the dip with the table bread was really good. But some of the pieces of bread were super burnt and not really edible. I understand that the goal is to give the food a nice char, but some parts were definitely burnt. We tried the black cod, which was really delicious. The bitter salad was a little bit too bitter for me. I do wish they had more meat selections. Overall, a 7/10 experience

    Our wait person Nicole was knowledgeable, attentive and delightful. Our sommelier Eli made absolutely spot on and amazing recommendations to pair with our dinner choices! Best crab gnocchi ever!

    We had a fabulous time! The food was delicious!! We just wished the crab and artichoke dip serving size was larger!!! Our server Daniel was attentive to our party of eight needs and he very personable. He helped to make the dining experience very enjoyable!!! When in town again, we will ask to be seated in Daniels’ area!!
