Best Seasonal Restaurants in Folsom

Trevor was our waiter. He was absolutely fantastic. Attentive, friendly and professional. We had the prime rib special ( prime rib, mashed potatoes and salad for $39.00). We also ordered cauliflower gratin and butter cake for dessert. The prime rib dinner was delicious and a great value. Cauliflower amazing and butter cake was the cherry on top. Great way to end a delicious meal. Definitely will be back.

We have always enjoyed Ruth’s Chris and I find it difficult to give a low rating. My guest and I both ordered the 11 oz filet medium well. My wife ordered the filet and shrimp, her filet well done. My guest and I both got filets well done (no pink) and my wife’s was medium well ( some pink). I know mistakes happen so we did not raise the issue, however, I would have enjoyed my steak much more if it had some pink and not so charred. I know we could have said something but it would have meant waiting for another steak to be prepared and our wives would have been way ahead of us. Other than the mix up with the steaks, our server Chad was excellent. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and he made it very special with his service and easy going banter.

Our server was extremely nice patient and helpful. The food was excellent.

Vacanza is an amazing restaurant. First, you feel like family. They are so welcoming. The service is wonderful. The food is so delicious and unusual. Unusual in a good way because everything is house made from the huge, delicious croutons to the incredible pastas. Last night I had the Pappardelle Ripienne. A tasty sauce with eggplant, garlic confit, and hazelnut butter and pesto. It was wrapped in the pappardelle. So yummy. It was my birthday and they served me a complimentary tiramisu that was also house made and so tasty. This restaurant is definitely a neighborhood gem.

We had a party of 7 and they were fast, friendly and the food was delicious! This was our first time there and would highly recommend.
