Our server, Ben, provided impeccable service—attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations were spot-on, elevating our dining experience to new heights. The culinary artistry at Augie’s was phenomenal. Every dish showcased a perfect balance of traditional French flavors and modern creativity, leaving us savoring every bite. From start to finish, the meal was a celebration of exceptional taste and quality. As longtime fans of the Stark restaurants, Augie’s has only deepened our admiration for their unwavering commitment to excellence. Every dish we had was delicious. From the cheese, curds, to the spinach salad, to the fried chicken, to the barbecued ribs. Rare to have every dish a delight.. The only thing I would knock them down on is they didn’t provide us with any dessert for our birthday boy.

The food and service were excellent. We arrived at 5 p.m. so service was prompt even though there already were many diners at that early hour. My only quibble is that the French press decaf for two turned out to be half a cup each. Either use smaller cups or provide enough beverage to fill the cup to normal height. The entrée prices were somewhat high but competitive with other similar local restaurants. The desserts, on the other hand, were $14, whereas a local upscale Italian restaurant charges only $10 for all desserts which are at least as good or better than Monti's offerings. The restaurant recently reopened after an extensive remodel, so everything was fresh and new! We were in a booth with very luxurious-feeling leather seat covering.

i’ve loved John Ash for years, but after the last two times dining it seems they are getting too pricey for the product. the service remains excellent, though. My pork sugo was bland and 2 pieces of pork were too fatty. the wine mark-ups are brutal. we paid $79 for a bottle that retails for $25. the bar is fantastic and we’ll certainly return there, just probably do our next birthday dinner elsewhere.

Food and cocktails were great. Good value for the size and quality. Smaller dinning room so it does get loud but that's part of the charm. Will go back to try other seasonal offerings.
