Best Historic Restaurants in Fort Wright, Kentucky

I booked this reservation for an anniversary dinner. There’s not much parking in the area so valet was our best option, it was around $14 without tip. The hotel lobby was decorated beautifully for the holidays and we received a warm welcome from the host stand. Every interaction with the servers was extremely welcoming and professional. Our server was Gina and she was excellent. Our only complaint was the volume of the live music but when seated in the dining room the noise level went down. We also received complimentary mocktails (we’re under 21) and chocolate covered strawberries to end our meal. Overall I’d say Subito gave us the perfect night.

Fixed price special duck menu was creative and pace of service was perfect. The wine pairings were not my taste, even though the explanations were excellent and they did go well with the food. This is the second time we have attended a fixed price dinner and we enjoy the place and the food very much. Will return.

Atmosphere is great. Food is wonderful so were drinks. Service needs work. We were seated, restaurant was almost empty for Saturday 10:45 brunch, and it was like we were forgotten. Someone came to pour water and said specifically they were not taking our order. Over 30 minutes went by. We asked for more water Nd if we could place a bar and app order. Another 20 minutes before seeing anyone. When our app and drinks arrived, and I guess we were assigned a server, service got much better.

Wonderful spot for a romantic birthday dinner. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and was attentive and kind. Every dish that we ordered was flavorful and filling. The portions are rather large so next time we will share more of our meal.

The grazing board was divine. Really good pimento cheese spread and fresh meats. The salad is enormous so plan accordingly. The Amish chicken was very good. Broccolini was scrumptious. Mashed potatoes were full of flavor. Cocktail menu could use some non whisky options. My husband had an old fashioned which he enjoyed but felt it was a bit overpriced. Our service was great!
