Best Historic Restaurants in Lachine

Highly recommend this cool spot. Food, service and atmosphere, this place has it all. Too bad they aren’t open for lunch.

Bar George is a staple for a nice (and quick) business lunch - such a beautiful building and always good food and service. Only negative surprise was that the bread basket (which included 3 pieces of bread) cost $8 - since when is bread extra?! Or the fact that bread cost extra should be mentioned by the server when they asked if we wanted bread.

Perfect for business lunches! Classy and elegant. Salmon was perfect and the service was wonderful.

Amazing flavor in meat and everything else. So well considered and the soup part of the French onion soup had a great depth of flavor. The steak was well seasoned the pepper sauce was gorgeous and the mash potato’s were so tasty, even the veg was not overcooked all in a superior meal. Great wine list. Sad the place was not packed it should be every night.

The food and presentation is of unbelievable quality. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to impress! Very pricey, but you get what you pay for. Definitely worth every penny.
