A typical food love story. A boy meets a girl while eating pizza. He attends culinary school and open’s a pizza restaurant named after the girl. Thus bringing us to Emily! The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Beyond the main event, the menu extends to include salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich). Once again, a delicious meal at Neir's Tavern. This time we went for brunch. Besides the great live jazz duo, the food was delicious. I ordered the Madame Croquette, an item limited to the brunch menu. It was delicious. My husband ordered the breakfast burger, also delicious. He topped it off with an order of hot, fresh pretzels, soft enough to break and dunk into his honey mustard dip. Each brunch comes with a free drink, another great feature of brunch. We ordered the mimosa and aperol spritz. Definitely a must visit place. Dine once, and you will be back!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my experience tonight. From the service to the food, everything was amazing. Raquel was also the best and made our night that much more enjoyable. The birthday girl was happy as well! Thank you to the staff at RH Rooftop for such a perfect night.
