I had heard that the BP had gone downhill a bit, but that was not at all our experience. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and polite. Our server was wonderful and attentive, and the food was terrific! Added bonus there was a piano player and he was wonderful and made the event even more special! Highly recommend!More infoAfternoon Tea at the Brown PalacePrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Downtown / LoDo•4.6

- KKaralynnSeattle / Eastern Washington •8 reviews5.0Dined on 9 Nov 2024Went here 2x when in Denver this fall. For a tavern, the food was extra good. For lunch, the Caesar salad was among the best I've ever had, and the shrimp salad sandwich with tarragon was excellent. For dinner, for vegetarians they had a tofu steak with potatoes and vegetables that was also top notch. Drinks were good too. Service was attentive and friendly without being bothersome. And its location in the spectacular Brown Palace hotel can't be beat.More infoShip TavernPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown / LoDo•4.1
