Best Historic Restaurants in West Chester

A wonderful experience in celebrating our wedding anniversary. Requested romantic table and they delivered, right near the fireplace with a warming fire burning. Waitress was super. We never wanted for anything. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. This is my fourth or fifth time coming here, and I’m always very satisfied with the service and ambiance. I will be back again.

We visit Duling Kurtz for extra special family occasions. The lobster crepes and filet mignon are always perfect. Last night my connoisseur daughter and I tried the beet salad, which we will order again the next time we visit. We had a wonderful experience at the White Dog Cafe. We celebrated my fiancée's birthday, and the staff acknowledged the occasion with a nice card. We had dined at the restaurant when it was Vickers Restaurant, so it was nice to see that much of the restaurant had a close resemblance. The food was fantastic, many great choices. I had the salmon and my fiancée had the meatloaf. Both were great. We started with the buffalo chicken dip, which was a nice beginning to our meal. Our server, Lia was fantastic, she was friendly, cheerful and full of positive energy. She was attentive without being over bearing. We will go back again.

The food was fabulous, so although the menu wasn't extensive - it didn't need to be. yum! The selection of bourbon was amazing - I didn't know that many even existed. And the server was very helpful in making a selection for my Old Fashioned. This was our first time here - but it won't be our last.

My husband and I celebrated our 5year anniversary last night and chose to spend it at the winery at grace inn. We always have an exceptional time. The food is amazing, I had the lamb meatball, beet raviloi, and ube pie; my husband got the wedge salad, hangar steak, and an affogato. Even the service was a 10/10, Candido was very attentive and explained all of the food and wine for the wine pairing option we chose. We also love the tasting room and have been there on several occasions. The wine, food, and service never disappoint.
