- HHarveyVIPNew York City •106 reviews5.0Dined on 21 Feb 2025I’ve said it many times but it can’t be said enough. This is the best restaurant in Rockland County. I’ve lived in the county for 51 years and though there are many terrific restaurants IL Portico is in a class by itself. Pepe and Paige are unique hosts creating an atmosphere that is both relaxed and elegant at the same time. The food is presented superbly and is always delicious. The service is always outstanding. If you have not eaten here, you are doing yourself a disservice. If you eat here once, you will be back many more times. Treat yourself to a wonderful dining experienceMore infoIL PorticoPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Tappan•4.9
- LLauraVIPNew York City •15 reviews5.0Dined on 21 Feb 2025What a gem of a spot! The hubby and I went on a Friday for lunch. I ordered the shakshouka pita, which was absolutely delicious! So flavorful and well seasoned. The hubby ordered the shawarma platter with french fries. He literally ate everything on his plate because he said it was all so tasty! We really loved that they set the table with a sample of assorted pickled veggies, pita bread, cole slaws, and dipping sauce. We both left lunch feeling stuffed in the most satisfying way. I must also add that we had a lovely server who was very attentive and polite. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed the meal and can’t wait to come back!More infoTavlinPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Tenafly•4.4

It is consistently very good quality gastro pub food with a great atmosphere and very friendly accommodating staff. It is located in a restored early 20th century train station building at the Metro North station along the Hudson River. Cozy and comfortable in winter and great outdoor dining in warmer months with views of the Hudson for an affordable price and often live music. Highly recommend this restaurant.More infoHudson Social - Dobbs FerryPrice: Moderate• American• Dobbs Ferry•4.6
