Manor Hill Tavern occupies the historic Taylor’s Row in Old Ellicott City. Our bar and dining areas feature original architectural elements such as exposed stone walls, barn doors, and vaulted ceilings. Local artwork hangs throughout the Tavern’s many rooms and a mural adorns a main wall, a nod to the eclectic and vibrant artistic community of Old Ellicott City. But, the oysters are just the beginning. Our award winning menu celebrates the bounty of the Chesapeake region by using locally sourced seafood, meat, and produce to create exquisite dishes that evolve with the seasons. Chef Mills has been featured extensively for his use of invasive seafood species, a very delicious way to help the Chesapeake Bay.     Front of the House - Fantastic!!! Patti was up to her well wishes and Holiday treats. Made the Lunch service memorable. Management - Circulating and making a difference. Wonderful conversation; helpful support to the Wait Staff. Teamwork from the top - makes a difference. Food expeditors - friendly and professional. Providing a critical role in ensuring that orders are delivered promptly and accurate. These Team members assist with the overall experience. Wait Staff - Lauren. Super friendly; helpful; genuine; menu knowledgeable; and attentive. Always there clearing plates or refilling a glass. Parking Lot - fresh smell of emulsifier. Great improvement and the investment is appreciated. Teamwork - works - drives return visits and satisfied guests.

    Food and service were excellent! Noise level was high but it was St. Patrick’s Day weekend and the town parade that day; so it was expected! It did not take away from the awesome food and service!
