Beauty & Essex has an innovative design that starts in the restaurant’s entrance, a well-curated modern-day pawn shop replete with a saxophone, boombox, quirky artifacts, vintage treasures, and an eclectic array of “one-off” pieces of jewelry. My birthday brunch at Tan was an unforgettable experience. The delicious food and drinks, coupled with exceptional service, made for a truly special celebration. Emilio's attentive hosting and Gigi's warm hospitality at the bar created a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We were even fortunate enough to meet Chef Ricardo, who shared exciting news about an upcoming menu and extended a friendly invitation. Tan exceeded all expectations, making my birthday brunch a memorable occasion.

This one lives up to the hype! Every dish we had was memorable and something we’d come back for! Grilled cheese dumplings, kale & apple salad, miso eggplant, truffle mac & cheese and beef Wellington all highly recommended… the steak was super tender and tasty (we were skeptical). Oh and the espresso martini! You won’t be disappointed!

Perfect kind of fine dining experience - upscale, not uptight, incredible food, and really impeccable service. It is going to be hard to eat anywhere else for the next several months. We went to celebrate a birthday and engagement anniversary, and they made it very special and very aware that they knew and cared about it !
