Best Open Kitchen Restaurants in Glen Cove

We frequent Opus and consider it to be the best restaurant on Long Island. The steak rivals the best restaurants in NYC. We had fish as our entrees this evening— red snapper and Chilean Sea Bass— both excellent. Appetizers Lamb Meatballs and burrata salad— mozzarella prepared table side— both excellent. A stand out of the evening was the service. Our waitress—Cam- seemed to intuitively know when she was needed and was never intrusive. She presented the specials articulately and completely. She was upbeat and helped our dinner to be relaxed and enjoyable. It felt like a private dining experience which was without distraction. We will certainly request to be seated in her station in the future. As we exited, the valet knew that mine was the Bentley, allowing the evening to end with the relaxing demeanor we experienced throughout.

Food was outstanding. All four of us truly enjoyed our meals. From scallops, half chicken, sea bass and the most delicious Loin of lamb. Exceeded our expectations. Waiter was respectful and good. He did forget a drink from our group for quite some time but he did such a great job letting us talk. Oh the apps came and we started eating them. But within 3 minutes the main course came. But. Great experience and will be back.

What a great new place to have in the neighborhood. Delicious food, good wine list by the glass, and attentive service. I look forward to my next visit.

Wonderful service; we had crispy Brussel sprouts and Fuji Apples and delicata squash with prosciutto as appetizers. They were prepared and presented beautifully. Excellent burgers, and chicken paillard with little gem Caesar was wonderful as well.

Food and entire experience were outstanding. We had 17 different and very imaginative dishes. The presentation, preparation and quality were extremely impressive. It is a unique and amazing experience, especially having it in Oyster Bay. The food was some of the best I have ever had, and I have eaten all over the world. The wine pairing truly enhanced the experience. It was extremely expensive, but totally worth it.
