Petit Trois Le Valley, the second outpost of Chef Ludo Lefebvre's beloved bistro, opened its doors in 2018 in Sherman Oaks. This larger location channels a lavish French Brasserie, with its marble bar, banquette lined dining room, and a Chef’s counter overlooking the open kitchen. The second dining room can be reserved for larger parties and private events. Since opening, Petit Trois has garnered praise from casual foodies and revered food critics. In 2015, Petit Trois was nominated for Best New Restaurant by the James Beard Foundation and in 2019 earned the Bib Gourmand designation upon the Michelin Guide’s return to Los Angeles.     I said we were celebrity a birthday…no mention of anything from checking even as I paid the bill. They sat us in the very back, outside area. T I still have 4 stars, but not what I expected. Service was nice, but didn’t smile once til we paid the bill. The people helping him were very helpful and we ended up asking them for drinks and refills etc instead. We never got a receipt although we asked. * the lunch menu changed since a couple week ago also. It went up in price and the desert was removed making it a 2 course special instead of 3. Overall good food.
