Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Oceanside

First time at Churchill's. The wait staff were good, the food was good and we were served in a timely manner. However, it was SO noisy, it was difficult for the 5 of us to chat.

Our server Anthony was so great and very attentive. All of the food came out at a timely manner and all tasted great. Love coming to this restaurant. Never a bad experience. Huge portions too!!

Went to the pantry, Tyler with friends on Wednesday night. The place was empty. The fall decor walking in and the interior of the restaurant were beautiful. We ordered a Reuben, cheeseburger, veggie flatbread, and a pre-chicken sandwich. Drinks for a Coke, a beer,and a half-price bottle of wine that was a great value at $17. The bill with tip came to $170. I thought that was a lot of money for four diner, sandwiches and fries. My husband won’t be back but I might go with friends for brunch. The brunch menu looks interesting

Had a lovely experience at The George for a girls night out. I started with the Pink Fetch cocktail which was light and not overpowering. We ordered the tuna wonton nachos. The wonton’s were crisp and delicious. The tuna was well seasoned and nicely prepared. I could have eaten the whole plate. We also ordered pierogies which were also delicious. As a main, we split a steak, creamed spinach and potatoes. We topped it off with an apple tart and banana pudding. We all enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Service was good as well. Will def be back

Absolutely delicious food ! Great, fast service in a cozy, relaxing and very pleasant atmosphere. Our family of 6 (ages 14 to 82) loved every single dish of fresh, authentic Portuguese food. Thank you, A Taberna!!
