Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Maple Lawn

From the minute you walk in to the moment you leave, this was a 5-star experience. A band was playing soft music as we entered and passed a gas fireplace. We had several appetizers, but the egg rolls stuffed with chicken were the favorite. The filets were perfectly prepared accompanied by a huge portion of garlic spinach and mashed potatoes. Our server Liz was friendly and asked all of the right questions to ensure we had exactly what we wanted. We have come here several times and it is consistently an excellent experience.

Signs or a directory on the main plaza would be useful.

Great food and gracious service at the food market! Generous portions are a bonus. Loved the crab soup with a little crab cake and the beet salad was fantastic.

Chante and Erica were amazing! We had the treat of experiencing the cooking of Miss Toya herself and the food was AMAZING! I haven’t had a meal like that outside in a loooooong time! The music was fantastic.. all of the old school jammy jams. We were rocking. The food portions were huge. I had the fried chicken, Mac n cheese, greens, and corn bread. The deviled eggs for appetizer. Just so delicious. I cant wait to return.

Great to see this place so busy! My wife and I were pleased with all aspects of our dining experience. Happy hour menu was solid (that smoked old fashioned is fantastic!). Entrees were delicious. Service was slightly slower than expected, but that was probably due to how full the restaurant was. Server was helpful and responsive.
