Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Wilmette

Great location & cutest place for a Girls Nite out BDay celebration! Menu has great variety for sharing at reasonable prices & normal sized servings. Overall, the food was great, pasta could have been served a little warmer & since we were sharing the dip trio, it would have been helpful to have spoons in each dip, also the pita was cold and hard. Nice dessert selection, even though only 2 are listed on the menu, you can also pick from the dessert case! I thought the service was a little wonky, nice enough but could have been a little more attentive. This is for sure going into our rotation, don’t sleep on the veggie salad with crispy chickpeas or the luscious meatballs!

Wonderful manager who worked there room, checked in on dinners, helped to clear tables and bring various items to dinners such as condiments. Food was good-excellent menu options.

We had a 6:30pm reservation, and we arrived early. We were seated promptly upon arrival. The restaurant was very busy when we arrived, but our server came to our table very soon after we were seated… I had commented on the last time we dined at the restaurant, and the service today was by far more superior and attentive (note, the owner of Bluestone offered us a gift coupon for the lack of service attentiveness last time, which we appreciated). The server came to the table numerous times to ask for our drink and food choices, and the delivery was quick once we ordered. The smoked chicken wings were delicious. I had the brown rice bowl with the salmon which was delicious, and everyone else’s meals were prepared nicely and were very tasty. All in all, a nice experience this evening.
