- KKimberlyPortland / Oregon •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoEverything we had was delicious, but for the first time, I found the service was the true star in this small restaurant. Each dish was presented beautifully and our every want and need was taken care of before we even realized it was there. This is a truly exceptional dining experience. I can't wait to go back!More infoMagna KusinaPrice: Moderate• Filipino• Southeast Portland•4.8
- DDanHawaii •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI like the open kitchen where you can watch your food being made. All the pasta dishes we ordered were delicious. They make their pastas and bread in house. I wasn’t a fan for the olive oil that came with focaccia, but the bread was soft and yummy. Oysters were fresh. The plating was very nice. I definitely will go back and also recommend this place to all my friends. More infoTartucaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Northeast Portland•4.8
- RRobynPortland / Oregon •19 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoAfter two years of having Thanksgiving Dinner at a large and noisy chain restaurant, we opted for King Tide this year. We had not been here before, and it was a great first impression. It was the perfect low-key Thanksgiving we needed. The food was top-notch, and the service was low-key but just right. We'll definitely be back to try out brunch and maybe lunch or dinner some other time. My son and husband had the turkey dinner special and they were both pleased with the quality of the meal. I ordered the special individual beef wellington along with a wedge salad from the regular menu. I am hooked on the wedge salad - it is the best I have ever had with the flavors/seasoning in the dressing. The beef wellington was great. I had never had beef wellington before (but I've definitely seen recipes for it), but it was delicious. For dessert we each tried a different dessert and shared bites with each other - the King Tide sundae, the Basque cheesecake and the pecan pie. All 3 were great! The restaurant opened at 2pm and our reservation was a 2pm, so there was no wait to be seated and our food arrived quickly.More infoKing Tide Fish & ShellPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.2
- SStevenvipSan Francisco Bay Area •66 reviews5.0Dined on 17 Nov 2024Great food experience. Wait staff, when they could, was good. Never had to ask for wine glasses after somebody brought us a decanter for our wine. Also, our pre-dinner cocktails didn’t come until we were halfway through the cheese fondue. The food and presentation was great. Price was very reasonable.More infoUrban FonduePrice: Expensive• Fondue• Downtown•4.5
