We used to go to the Oak Brook location but now we finally got to visit the one in Chicago. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that this was the original one. It’s a classic French bistro fare with amazing servers and food. I highly recommend the steak and frites! make sure to get your reservation early because we had to dine at 4:45 PM due to later dinner times not being availableMore infoMon Ami GabiPrice: Moderate• French• Lincoln Park•4.8
- LLynnChicago / Illinois •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe best steak and sides we’ve ever had at a resteraunt in our area. The steak is on a hot cast iron plate and stays warm throughout. The mashed potatoes taste like a twice baked without the skin. Serving size is plentiful. The waiter, busman, Chef, lady tending bar were so nice and always smiling. The design of dining room felt elegant. Their menu has various cuisines to choose from. We’ve been wanting to try Primo since they opened but never got around to it. Always navigating to places we’ve been. Well today is our anniversary and wanted to go somewhere special so we decided to eat at Primo. We are very happy that we made reservations. Primo is now our number one steakhouse!!!More infoPrimo Italian American CuisinePrice: Expensive• Italian• Gurnee•4.6

I moved to Logan Square about four months ago and this restaurant came highly recommended by so many. The ravioli and the rigatoni were absolutely divine! So wonderful to have this gem just a few blocks away. Highly recommend!More infoDaisies ChicagoPrice: Expensive• American• Logan Square•4.7
- DDavidNew York City •13 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoBoka is nothing short of a revelation - a shining gem in Chicago's glittering culinary crown. This Lincoln Park institution weaves together artistic plating, impeccable technique, and warm hospitality into an unforgettable fine dining experience that feels both special and wonderfully unpretentious. The restaurant's intimate space sets the perfect stage, with its lush botanical wallpaper and modern touches creating an atmosphere that's both sophisticated and inviting. But it's the food that truly steals the show. Each dish emerges from the kitchen as a miniature masterpiece, showcasing seasonal ingredients in ways that feel both innovative and deeply satisfying. The tasting menu progresses like a well-orchestrated symphony, with playful amuse-bouches giving way to more complex compositions that build in intensity and surprise. What truly sets Boka apart is how it balances its Michelin-starred ambitions with genuine warmth. The service strikes that perfect note of being attentive yet relaxed, knowledgeable without being pretentious. It's the rare fine dining establishment where you can feel equally comfortable celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in an extraordinary meal for no reason at all. With its ability to deliver transcendent culinary experiences while maintaining an approachable charm, Boka proves that true hospitality and gastronomic excellence aren't mutually exclusive. It's not just a meal - it's a reminder of why Chicago's dining scene ranks among the world's best.More infoBokaPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Lincoln Park•4.8
