Opened in 2017. Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great burger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s kind of a bistro, kind of a diner, internationally inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto.Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. Honestly the music was a bit loud, but it’s nothing that stops this place from a 5 star.

Parquet is a great bistro with very competent service, a delicious menu and thoughtful and very approachable wine list. I can strongly recommend the steak frites and the duck confit. Unlike many restaurants the noise level was fine. No one at our table had to yell.

Food and ambiance are always great at Alobar. The service is fantastic. There seems to be a bit confusion with reservation in the beginning but is just a small hiccup. Overall experience is very pleasant

Aloette made for the perfect date night! The service was exceptional—attentive and friendly. The food was outstanding, from the melt-in-your-mouth lamb skewer to the delicious Aloette burger with Beaufort cheese. The sides—we grabbed the tots and crispy butternut squash—were incredible. The ambiance, paired with great music, set a relaxed yet lively mood. We finished with the perfect slice of carrot cake. Everything was top-notch, and we can't wait to come back!

Three of us went for dinner before attending the theatre. We shared 2 entrees and 2 bowls of rice and had plenty of food. The only reason I didn’t give a full 5 star rating was because they had run out of Kingfisher Beer which was advertised in large signs outside the restaurant . We will return and sample other dishes, this time we had Butter Chicken and Basa fish curry.
