Chef/Owners Lisa & Terry Harwood opened Vine Street Cafe in 2003. Located on South Ferry Road, just 1.5 miles from the South Ferry. Chef Terry works with area farmers, fishermen & vineyards and features their natural bounty on his seasonal menus. We make everything in house and Lisa's desserts, ice creams and fruit crisps are no exception. Recently, we opened a small market behind the restaurant. This is where you pick up take-out orders while stocking your home pantry. Specialty catering is available along with ready fresh meals such as meatballs, chicken salad, bread, smoked ribs, BBQ Sauce and a selection of artisan pastas. My husband and I dined at Calissa for the first time this past Sunday. The restaurant was nice and warm when we came in from the cold. We were greeted warmly. The restaurant is beautiful and inviting. We ordered from the prix fixe menu. There were many great choices offered and the food was plentiful and excellently prepared. The staff were very attentive. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely come back.

Almond is the perfect, cozy, refuge during the late fall and winter nights. The ambience is cozy and welcoming. The staff is always kind and hard working. We love the various specials Almond has, such as the Tuesday beer and burger night. We are lucky to have it as a neighborhood spot.

A quiet, well appointed room with attentive but not intrusive staff complements a choice of beautifully prepared and presented dishes. The cocktail and wine list is excellent. All in all, a lovely evening.

It was an amazing experience as usual. I have nothing bad to say. The 180 day dry aged steak was phenomenal in every way from the cut to the cook to the amazing sauce and perfectly seared foie gras.
