Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Westmount

This is one of Edmonton’s best kept secret. If you are a true Italian food enthusiast, you will fall in love with this place. From the arrival, you walk into a super warm and welcoming ambiance, just like walking into an old Italian mama’s house. We were guided to our table and served by the most amazing hostess you can hope for, and the extraordinary quality and taste infused in every bite was the most amazing culinary experience we had the privilege of enjoying since moving to Edmonton 12 years ago. We will return, again and again.

10/10 would recommend. Food was great (any dish we had was either smokey or spicy, not a bad thing just a note). Margaritas were great. Ambiance was lovely - we ate on the rooftop patio. Would be nice if they installed some sun shades. But overall great experience. Would go back.

Server was almost impeccable. Perfect wine pairings with our food, almost perfect timing between courses and seemed very knowledgeable about both the food and wine menu. My only critique, and I will admit it’s far from a deal breaker, is that old fashion me still expects my wife’s plate to be cleared only once we have both finished. This seems to be a lost nuance and perhaps an expectation I need to adjust. All in all this place offered a very enjoyable dining experience.

Vivo is our favourite restaurant and we love sitting at the counter. So much action watching them cook and the staff are so friendly.
