Best Authentic Restaurants in Northfield

Everything was amazing. From the bar before we sat down, to the table. The host was also amazing. There were a ton of staff checking on us. So, we were always taken care of. The waiter and other staff were very charismatic and sociable (which we always appreciate). The food? OUTSTANDING! From the bread, to the salad, to the main course. Delicious! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I haven’t been in Sofia’s since our wedding that we celebrated there - it is a bit far from where we live, but this place has a huge sentimental value to us. Spending almost every summer in Greece, I can attest the food is authentic - the best tzatziki and moussaka I’ve had in my life. The food is certainly giving you that “welcome home” comfort. The Chilean Seabass from the Valentine day menu was outstanding, just perfect! Applause for the kitchen staff! Knowing the restaurant business very well, this place runs like a well oiled machine! Service was attentive and kind enough but not overwhelming, and this is a tough balance to achieve. Our servers were amazing - food was arriving timely, everything was at perfect temperature, we mixed the regular and Valentine’s Day menu items, adding wine flights to accompany - the wine selection was curated to perfection. The ambience is one of its strengths and can easily make you feel as if you’re somewhere in the Mediterranean. Overall, this was a spectacular experience in every aspect, and we surely be back. This is truly a hidden gem in Ventnor, NJ We enjoyed the Rucola starter with the complimentary deliciously warmed loaf of bread served with olive oil dipping sauce. Entrees included the Spaghetti Al Gamberi and the Pollo Al Granchio. Both ample portions and magnificent. Dessert was their decadent chocolate cake which was a delicious way to end this great meal. We were able to bring our favorite wine to this BYOB restaurant which made the meal that much more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone for a great night out.
