Best Authentic Restaurants in Greektown

Words cannot begin to describe how incredible this place is. Ammoora is an experience. From the waitstaff, to the cocktails, the atmosphere, each dish, is complex yet true to its Syrian heritage. Dean took incredible care of our party ensuring that our waters were full, we had a place to put our purses, and that our meal was appropriately coursed out. The manager made his round to us and enjoyed long conversation despite the restaurant being full. we never felt rushed or like a burden. The staff was thrilled to share their space with us and we were thrilled to receive every aspect of it.

The service was great. Our waiter gave us great recommendations for our first time being there. The service was great. Everyone was very attentive. Cocktails were perfect in our opinion. Not too boozy just right. Food was great. Have to try the  spinach raviolis. We are coming here again the future.

Great food for a good price. We had a reservation so we were easily seated. Place was busy so there was a reasonable noise level, we didn't mind. It was nice and bright inside and comfy seating. Our server was very friendly. Overall we had a wonderful time and a perfect valentines day date.

Staff was amazing, the food for our first time there was amazing taste. The drink I had for Valentines was amazing, reminded me of an old fashioned!!! Can't wait to return

Came to celebrate a birthday . The table we were sated at was nice . The parties sprung us however made the experience very unpleasant. Additionally having the runner continually ask if I was done or take my plate was not only an annoyance but felt invasive as if I was being rushed out of the establishment. I would give a 4/5 as our server was excellent ( crystal ) but I do believe further training is needed for the runners as no where in the reservation did it indicate a time allotment for me dining ( e.g. 3 hour window or 2 hour max ). It made the evening very uncomfortable and unpleasant to say the least .
