Best Steak Restaurants in The Tropicana

This was our second time at Ocean Prime and the food and drinks were absolutely AMAZING! Our server was Jason and he had the best personality and just made our experience even better. Came here to celebrate my daughters 23rd birthday, and it was just the absolute best most perfect experience you could have at a restaurant! We ordered the Cocktail shrimp, oysters, Chilean SeaBass literally melted your mouth, the NY strip with the truffle butter, and the the Truffle Mac& cheese is probably the best Mac cheese I've ever eaten. And I'm from the Southeast! We specialize in Mac/cheese! And let me not forget the Black Orchid cocktail...MYYYY GOD! best cocktail Ive ever had!

My colleague and I had breakfast here on our last day in town before going home. He had heard lovely things from other attendees at the conference we were at, and since we already had dinner plans on Wednesday night, we decided to eat here for breakfast. I’m glad we made a reservation, because by the time we left the place was packed. Our waitress was fantastic, she even brought me a glass of ice so I could drink my Diet Coke. (Only Pepsi at this resort). I had one of the crêpes of the day, bananas, foster, drizzled with Nutella. And my colleague also had crêpes of the day, but he selected raspberry and lemon curd.  it is a sizable plate of food, I was amazed that my colleague finished his, I could only get halfway. We also both had a coffee drink, I requested a vanilla latte and he had regular coffee, both were outstanding. And our waitress was the absolute best! If you are in Las Vegas and need a breakfast place, this is absolutely five stars.

Amazing look, food and experience but service could be a bit faster

The service there was excellent. Place is quiet and nice looking. Steak was cooked perfectly. The only thing for me was the quality of my bone in rib eye. Chef did a great job in making it exactly how we wanted it. But having tried many bone in rib eyes at steakhouses. This one was just ok. Wasnt top quality meat. But it was still good especially since it was cooked well. Overall was a good experience and i ate almost all of my steak so it was good enough. The asparagus was also cooked perfectly. Not over or undercooked and was tasty.

Still one of the great steak dinner in Las Vegas.
