Best Casual Restaurants in Hyattsville

support my local DMV restaurant. When arriving the place was really nice and quaint. When ordering food and drink it took longer than expected. There wasn't a lot people in the restaurant. It took a party of 3 20/30min for breakfast food to be served. The food was okay. The churro chicken waffle was great ( It was just maybe recommended to season just the chicken only not the interior meal. the churro waffle waffle and filled favor, but it had the salty seasoning sprinkled on top with the chicken. Sweet potato pancake was a bit chewy and a bit rubbery ( I'm not sure if it was the ingredients in the batter) the stuffed French toast was a guilty pleasurable eats. Its rich.

This was definitely a birthday dinner to remember! Everything was TOP-TIER WORTHY. From start to finish, from the way we were greeted and seated to the way we were serviced! The ambiance of the restaurant matched beautifully to the atmosphere. 12/10! Let’s get into THE FOOD! It was outstanding portions and flavor wise, the chef really outdid themselves. I’m so glad I chose here to celebrate turning 24, they will definitely see me again! Full rating 10/10 on everything!

There is no lunch menu. It is brunch (breakfasty items you can elevate to lunch). Food d was taaty but menu small. Waitstaff do not check inon you soon enough (3rd time there, same experience: waitstaff are alao bartender ao they are mixing drinks while you wait for them to show up to aak for ketchup!) Good location, good food, will go again because it is convenient to UMD. Hope they retrain staff to visit table often.

We did have a reservation, but since we arrived before the lunch rush began, it would likely not have been a problem to get a table. And, though we asked to be seated somewhere quiet so that we could visit (3 of us), it was fairly quiet overall anyway. The place did get much busier while we were there, but not overwhelmingly noisy. The service was great, with each staff member very pleasant. Our meals were excellent. (I had the watermelon salad and was impressed that it was really a watermelon salad - not a bed of greens with a couple of bites of watermelon on it!)
