we have the squash blossom appetizer which was incredible as well as the shrimp cocktail which was completely out of the ordinary but amazing as well. the salsas they bring to the table are all different and delicious! for out entrees we had the flank steak and the fried chicken risotto and loved both of them. the service was top notch from the moment we sat down and the house dessert was subtle and one of the better desserts I remember having in quite some time. I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to come back in the future!

The food in CDMX is so good it’s hard to find a restaurant that stands out. Polpo is a special place. The food is original and exciting perfectly cooked risotto with a touch of smoky flavours, octopus in a diving black sesame sauce, perfect croquettes, succulent pork belly skewers. I loved the little arcade it is in and the friendly attentive service. Polpo is a treat.

We had such a great experience eating at Marcello! The bread service is INCREDIBLE! I could have made a meal out of that alone. The service was impeccable, they even took our lack of Spanish in stride and we're super patient. The portion sizes were amazing. We highly suggest the chicken parmigiana - enough food for several meals. The truffle pasta was incredible too. We couldn't stop eating it. The pizza was real delicious as well! I feel like you can't go wrong here. Only world of advice, don't sit on the sidewalk/patio section if you don't want to be approached by passerby's trying to sell you something or collect donations.
