A typical food love story. A boy meets a girl while eating pizza. He attends culinary school and open’s a pizza restaurant named after the girl. Thus bringing us to Emily! The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Beyond the main event, the menu extends to include salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich). Nearly perfect pizza! I said outloud, 'I am delighted!' Loved the eggplant Parm to go with the 'za. And eating everything to loud rap felt correct. The staff was great. Good vibes. If I have to complain about something: I just wish they had a regular Caesar on the menu. But I'm not complaining.

Incredible Thai food unlike any other Thai food I have had personally. I had the Chicken Khao Soi noodles which were absolutely incredible. They have a pretty limited vegetarian menu but what they do have is also very very good. The value for the food at a Michelin star restaurant is unparalleled.
