We were delighted to see the owner, Jose who greeted us warmly at the door and seated us at our favorite window table. It's a great location to watch people passing by on Washington Street. We talked with Jose for a bit and he commented that he is always learning new recipes and continuously evolves the menu to offer his guests the very best quality experience. We wholeheartedly agree! This experience was exceptional! We started with perfectly blended Margaritas using fresh juices and an order of chips and beans with spicy, green and red salsas. Jose generously offered us a bowl of delectable grilled sweet corn with spices, topped with cheese and drizzled with crema and crisp slices of radish. We scooped up some of the corn with our tortilla chips and saved the rest to top our entrees. My husband chose a crispy Carnitas filled Chimichanga for his entree and I had my usual Mole Enchiladas stuffed with tender chicken, topped with a rich, dark, spicy Mole sauce and a side of fluffy seasoned rice. We sampled each others entrees and both were perfection! Beautiful comforting atmosphere, great mix of lively music and outstanding service by Jose himself assisted by his excellent floor staff, a great bartender and kitchen crew that really has it goin' on! We need to visit more often! If you you are new to this restaurant or have not visited in a while, do yourself a favor and visit.More infoViva Mexico Cantina GrillPrice: Expensive• Mexican• Providence•4.6
- CChrisvipGreater Boston •8 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe came on a Sunday night on the earlier side. It got busier toward the end of our reservation. We had great service overall and the food was delicious. We ordered the charcuterie board and deviled eggs for an appetizer; she got the filet mignon medium rare and side of asparagus; and I ordered the wagyu burger medium rare, which came with truffle fries. Deviled eggs were amazing; charcuterie was decent (but we are comparing to other amazing ones from our journey). Both dinners cooked to absolute perfection just as we ordered it. Steak quality was great and was similar to a top notch steakhouse. Burger was outstanding and melted in my mouth. Truffle fries did not have a truffle taste. But they were definitely good otherwise. We typically do not go back to restaurants, as we are trying to go to different spots. However, we confirmed before the check came that we would break that rule to try some of the other items on the menu. All in all great experience!More infoCirce Restaurant & BarPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Providence•4.7

- DDonnavipGreater Boston •7 reviews5.0Dined on 11 Nov 2024Excellent evening tonight celebrating The Splendor of Florence at Osteria Toscana hosted by Armando Bisceglia and two visiting chefs from Italy. The pop up venue was warm and inviting and proved to be a perfect backdrop for the delectable food that is being offered during this special event. We began with pasta and bean soup that was a throwback to having a warm, comforting bowl of soup as a child in an Italian household. Then I selected the fettuccine bolognese-which is the Best I have ever had. I simply did not want to finish the dish because side I was enjoying each forkful so much. Richard had the gnocchi-each one was a pillow of tenderness nestled in a truffle cream sauce that melted in your mouth. Our entrees of eggplant parmigiana and osso bucco were hearty and delicious and proved to be two perfect rustic Tuscan selections. At the end of this epic meal we had cookies with a dessert wine. Everything tied together seamlessly and we truly had The Splendor of Florence experience💖. Let’s not forget the Wine Window-such an authentic touch! We loved getting our wine and toasting to this fantastic evening.More infoOsteria Toscana - ProvidencePrice: Moderate• Italian• Providence•4.1
