- NNicoNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoHoly, crap! This is the best meal I’ve ever had had a restaurant in my entire life. I’ve been to a lot of fancy restaurants, and high-end dining that I had to gaslight myself afterwards were worth the price, but this was so different. It was worth every penny. The food was perfect, the vibes were immaculate, the music was so relaxing, and they burned Palo Santo while you ate, so it was an aromatic fragrance in the air. Such a great place to take my fiancé for our anniversary. The waiter was so attentive, and gave great recommendations. Literally, every dish from the appetizers to the guacamole, to the main course and deserts was so tasty. They did not miss! I can’t wait to come again.More infotánPrice: Expensive• Unspecified• Midtown East•4.7

Vibe and food were terrific, and Gabe’s super friendly and attentive service made our experience that much better. We’ll definitely be back soon.More infoPark Ave Kitchen by David BurkePrice: Expensive• American• Midtown East•4.5
- EErikNew York City •2 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoValentines Day for most restaurants is a chaotic experience so I’m going to give them a pass. They wanted to seat us at a tiny table and I’m 6”2 and 215 lbs. I did wait a little and got a decent table. The service was slow but we like to take our time so it wasn’t an issue. The special, chilled seafood salad with cucumber, cumin and crème fraiche was very special. The onion soup and pistachio terrine were as tasty as ever. My steak could have been warmer but the frites were nice and crispy. My partners duck a l’orange was nice but now what he expected. The flourless chocolate cake was as good as ever but served way before my partners almond tart. However the waitress was very accommodating and I did get a free glass of wine for the wait. The prices have gone up ALOT! I think $40 for a duck breast and steak frites is Al little steep for a casual French bistro, but again, that is the cost of dining in NYC.More infoL'ExpressPrice: Moderate• French• Gramercy Park•4.6

The food was prepared well and tasted delicious. The service overall was wonderful and our server Artin was the best. - KKeiraNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoIn a word—outstanding! This was our second visit to Metropolis, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Maître d' Isaiah, who set the tone for an unforgettable evening. Our server Ira was not only attentive but also knowledgeable, offering insight into each dish with enthusiasm that made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Chef Sherry's culinary creations were a true work of art—both in taste and presentation. Each bite was a revelation, and the appetizers in particular were nothing short of spectacular. If I could describe it, it was like a celebration of flavors in my mouth— my taste buds were dancing with delight and craving more after every bite. We've dined at top restaurants all over the world- but Metropolis stands out, to us, as one of the best. Chef Sherry, thank you for making this Valentine's truly special. We can’t wait to return for another unforgettable dining experience!More infoMetropolis by Marcus SamuelssonPrice: Moderate• American• Financial District•4.4
