Best Pre-Theater Restaurants in Uptown

What a fantastic meal - and the service was friendly and attentive!

Staff is so friendly and warming. Loved the ambiance. Mikey was knowledgeable and fun. Would return.

Good food. Great service. Convenient Uptown eateries with valet parking.

Food was superb and dining room was cozy with intimate feel but lit just enough to also lend a lively vibe. Robyn the GM provided a great welcome, and our server Eddy was one of the best in the industry. Kudos to all of the staff. Their wine list is extensive including not on theirs, but Aria restaurant next door. Only one tip: stress if you want your tapas (small plates) delivered in stages. We asked that they be staggered since we ordered a bottle of wine; however, all three arrived at once. Fortunately, we were enjoying the food and drink and ordered more but all small plates shouldn’t arrive at one time. Awesome evening and we would go many times over!

What a pleasant surprise! Stayed at Ivey's Hotel and had dinner before the show and breakfast on the way out the next day at Sophia's. The food was excellent along with the service. A delightful change from the cookie cutter hotels and restaurants. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Charlotte.
