We were seated in a side room and really enjoyed the noise level as it was quite moderate. Everything was well prepared and the service was on point with Tacuma being our main server. He was the perfect amount of helping when we needed him and disappearing when we were dining. We also enjoyed his sense of humor and he suggest the steak I enjoyed which was the bone in filet. Black garlic crusted and the temp was a perfect mid-rare. He also brought me a glass of wine with my steal which I thoroughly enjoyed. We started off with the tuna tartare fantastic fresh fish and wonderful presentation, my wife then enjoyed her beet salad and French onion soup which she declared the best in the city. With my steak we also enjoyed the potatoes augratin and creamed corn both very tasty. As for dessert, we shared a brûlée cheesecake with an amazing fresh strawberry sauce and fresh berries. All in all a wonderful evening. We will return.More infoThe Capital Grille - ColumbusPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Columbus•4.7
- EElizabethColumbus •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoLovely, steak was exceptional. Pricey, but you get what you pay for. Our service was spot on and you guys never disappoint. As far as ambiance, dark and sultry just how we love it. I ordered the Kosar and will probably get again as it comes with lobster too so you get a lil mix of things. When we arrived we saw that there was no happy hour as it was Valentines Day and we had a time limit of 1.5 hours to be done. I didn't really love that but I get it. As it turned out we were out of there in 1.25 hours and never felt any pressure to leave either. Just a great restaurant that we'll always come back to. Maybe our 3rd - 4th visit and my husbands favorite steak venue. We will always come back. thank you for taking care of us so expertly. - DDougColumbus •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoMitchell’s Ocean Club has always been a favorite for a fun evening at their bar. However, we decided to get a table for Valentine’s Day for a more intimate experience. We couldn’t have had a better time. We were warmly greeted by the hosts and then the greetings just kept coming. The young man serving water was equally as friendly and enthusiastic as the managers. You could sense that each staff member took great pride in their positions. Eric and Hannah were in good form as always, efficiently and managing their teams during a busy holiday evening. Always with a smile and positive attitude. Our server, Justin, was completely invested in our experience. His timing and awareness of our needs was impressive. He knew when to come check on us and when to give space. Not easy on a busy night. His suggestions were spot on so we tried things we might not have normally tried. The bread is scratch made and served hot. Not many restaurants even offer bread anymore. I ordered the 10oz lobster tail which was melt in your mouth delicious with perfectly cooked asparagus. My girlfriend enjoyed every bite of the Japanese A5 Wagyu strip steak. In addition we always share an order of our favorite, the goat cheese ravioli. It’s so easy to stay home and order in these days, but if you’re going to make the effort to go out to dinner, a first class experience, like Mitchell’s Ocean Club, makes it well worth your while. Looking forward to our next visit!More infoMitchell's Ocean Club - Easton Town CenterPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Easton•4.8
