Best Family Style Restaurants in Plano

yesterday i celebrated a late valentine’s day from host greeting and making it known “kitchen is a bit behind today but we will sit you quickly as possible “ my reservation was at 6:45pm sat by 6:55pm quick and efficient! the host was amazing with the small talk and letting us know the deals. Now if you ever get to experience dining with Maggiano’s - Willow Bend , please do ask for Alvin. He was so attentive, prompt, efficient & made our experience dining at Maggiano’s amazing. A very sweet waiter! Maggiano’s chefs you did not disappoint, The staff was amazing & yall moved like clockwork, every waiter and waitress had a smile! Bless y’all’s hearts!

It was good to see our server, Jay, again. It’s like dining with and old friend who always makes you feel welcome and comfortable. I like a filet or a NY strip but tonight Jay recommended the Wagyu Bone In Kansas City Strip and I’m glad he did. It was the best tasting steak that I’ve had in a long time. It was cooked (MR) and seasoned perfectly. It truly melted in your mouth. I had to forgo most of my potato so that I could finish that 18oz beast. It has now set the standard. My wife had a salad and a filet both of which were prepared perfectly. The highlights of the evening were Jay and that Wagyu. WOW!!

Ingredients were clearly fresh and perfectly prepared into amazing dishes. The place seems like an authentic restaurant true to itself and it didn't feel like we were in Texas. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful and made the experience better. Prices were incredible for quality of food. We came for Valentine's Day and Highly recommend this place for any occasion!

I went here for a Galentines Day Dinner, and I had an amazing experience. The staff was very kind & customer focused. I did get to go to the comedy club which was a very nice experience. I love that you can order food and drinks while you laugh. We dined & ate dinner after the comedy show and the food was amazing. That steak, omg was so juicy & tender. The glazed carrots were delicious. The drinks, wow! I had the Litty Ditty & I could’ve drank them all night if I didn’t have to leave, (and if I wouldn’t have been drunk). I’ll absolutely go back here for either a date night or intimate gathering. They are in a very unique niche of their own when it comes to the restaurant business, I hope this place prospers!

The waiter and the food is always just top notch. My brother and I celebrated our birthday here and they just went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I ordered a mocktail from the mocktail list - so happy they could do this as it’s hard to find good mocktails and places that have mocktails besides water! Ha!
