Best Fun Restaurants in St. Clair West

First time Italian cuisine. Wine tasting is a bonus. I learned a lot tonight. First tasting menu I tried ever with different groups of wine pairing on each dish by a certified wine specialist explaining how the pairing works and how they interwined. Thank you.

The ambiance is beautiful we loved the vibe and the music. The servers were nice however our drinks were empty a lot of times and we had to track down a server.

Food was excellent. Ambiance was great. Service was exceptional. One star was lost because of two things: (1) the table was not wiped before giving us the dessert menu. There were crumbs on the table; (2) the Negroni did not have the big square ice cube but had ice chunks. Excuse given by server was lame - they had no room to store the ice cubes.

We had someone with allergies at our table and the server went to some trouble to find something that he could safely eat. Since no one could get the seafood or fish options, the server also offered to replace the shrimp in the pad thai with double chicken. The beet and pear salad, and the out of bounds chicken salad were delicious.

We had a great time at Gusto 501. We ordered carpaccio, baked brussel sprouts, and Pepperoni pizza from the Happy Hour menu, and Truffle Pasta and Risotto from the main menu. All meals were delicious.
