- HHowardVIPGreater Boston •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoVery unassuming looking place with Wonderful food, excellent service, strict attention to allergy concerns, and a quiet environment to just enjoy the food. No ear splitting music or deafening beat. Wonderful preparations. We had pork belly and crab cake as appetizers, roasted duck breast and crispy roasted sea bass with lobster tortellini as entrées, followed by an amazing lemon cream and wild Berry Napoleon. A refreshing sorbet was also served as s palate cleanser between courses. Everything showed a delicate touch of refinement and knowledge or what works.More infoThe Alcove- EvanstonPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Evanston•4.6
- EEmmaChicago / Illinois •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWow! We absolutely loved this place! I had chosen this restaurant quite randomly because we had a show at the Laugh Factory afterward. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding service and food. We ordered the 48-hour marinated skirt steak. The chimichurri sauce was incredible, and the mushrooms were cooked to perfection. The steak was done perfectly at medium. highly recommend if you’re in the area!More infoLa Perla ChicagoPrice: Expensive• Latin American• Lake View•4.5
- DDonnaVIPChicago / Illinois •46 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMade last minute reservations on the afternoon of Valentine's Day. The place of hopping with families, I was with my 3 granddaughters. We were seated right away. Our server was outstanding - checking in frequently when passing by to assist other patrons. The table runners were friendly and efficient. Food came out hot, especially appreciated that the soup was delivered hot as that has not been the case in other establishments. Food was prepared well and very good. Even though there were people waiting, I never felt rushed at all during the meal. Very pleased with the entire experience.More infoValley Lodge TavernPrice: Moderate• Comfort Food• Wilmette•4.5

- DDavidChicago / Illinois •4 reviews5.0Dined on 8 Feb 2025We had an excellent late lunch before going to the theater next door. Our waiter was very professional: courteous, knowledgeable, and attentive. Our bacon-wrapped shrimp appetizer was exceptional and our entrees (chicken marsala and the fish special) were delicious. My wife is strictly gluten free and was accommodated perfectly.More infoJameson's Charhouse - SkokiePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Skokie•4.4
