Best Restaurants with Private Rooms in Matthews

The kindest people we’ve ever met. Our server was Cameron C. and he deserves the hugest raise. The staff were constantly checking on us making sure we enjoyed our food and drinks, THE KEY LIME PIE MARTINI is an absolute treasure. We drove from Greensboro to come dine tonight, and it was worth it. I cannot wait to come back!

The service was impeccable and the food was delicious!! Definitely get more shareables, as the main dishes are small. I took off a few stars for that reason - for $34 I expect more than two tiny piece of short rib. But the food was excellent!

We had one of the most wonderful dinner experiences last night celebrating our granddaughters birth. The staff could not have been more attentive. The Regional Director Michael came by and talked to us to check on us and upon learning we just had a grand baby shared his happiness for us. We ordered take out meals for our daughter and son in law and every staff member signed a beautiful congratulations card to them and included it in their order. So sweet and thoughtful. Our three course prime rib dinner was delicious. Every course provided a larger portion than expected and with perfect cooked prime rib and sides. This company cares how you are treated and want you to feel good about dining at their restaurants. They exceeded all our expectations and it was Valentine’s Day as well. At least four team members checked on us and other diners throughout our dinner. Well done South Park Firebirds Team! We will be back every time we visit our new grand baby. Great food great service great lighting. Possibly the best meatballs I’ve ever had in my life. Definitely gonna come back for the meatball hoagie that our waiter was talking about. Love the place actually

We have previously dined at other Roosters locations in Charlotte, but this was our first time at this new Ballantyne location. The food was very good as we expected based on our visits to other Roosters locations. The atmosphere is nice - modern, open, clean. We were there for Valentine's Day lunch on a Friday - I'm glad we made reservations because almost every table was filled (it was more crowded than I was expecting for lunch time). That being said, there was enough space between tables that we did not feel crowded or cramped; there was some energetic noise but it wasn't too loud (we could easily hear each other talking at our table). The service was friendly and good, although it was slightly slower than expected which I can understand based on the large crowd of people who entered shortly after we arrived (the waitress was busy!). I would recommend it and will be back again in the future - I'm glad Roosters now has a Ballantyne location much closer to my home and that it's as good as I hoped it would be!
