Callie represents Chef Travis Swikard's debut solo project after spending a decade working alongside the esteemed Chef Daniel Boulud in New York City. The restaurant’s name, "Callie," comes from the Greek word "kallos," meaning "the most beautiful," and embodies its blend of Mediterranean cuisine with local ingredients and terroir, from sea to land from San Diego, Swikard's hometown.     Absolutely loved the energy and warmth of the restaurant! The dinner was outstanding. Extremely flavorful and creative, my only suggestion to make the dining experience top tier would be stronger dessert options. The servers were extremely helpful in making quality decisions, very attentive. Upon entering the restaurant would love a little more energy from hosts but doesn’t take away from the incredible atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back! Thing I found my new favorite restaurant.

    The bar has a picturesque design, satisfactory food offerings and wide variety of drinks. Though with intention to have girls outing we had to relocate our night to the nearby restaurant due to noise level. There were absolutely impossible to talk to person seating next to me, not to mention person within one bar chair or across the table. In order to conserve the voice and enjoy chatting with my friends, we left the bar. Staff was very friendly disregard out decision, checked us out momentarily
