Best Restaurants with Bar Seating in Wakefield

The food was really good, our server was also really good, I think I would comeback on a less crowded night to give it a send try. Overall was a good night. 4.5 starts!

Very tasty food, came for Valentine’s Day so service wasn’t insanely fast but obviously that’s to be expected and it didn’t negatively impact my experience. I got the Buffalo chicken pizza and throughly enjoyed it, and pleased to say they do have amazing espresso martinis.

We had a Valentine’s Day dinner reservation for 6:30. We arrived early and was told it would a little bit of a wait (no biggey). We decided to go to the bar for a drink and loved to stayed there for our dinner. The bartender was very busy but attentive. We had cocktails that were mixed perfectly, Calamari that was crisp and fresh, and for our main entree we split the Chicken Marsala. It wasn’t plated for our split but we used our calamari plates and that was fine. The Marsala was served over a plentiful plate of Fusilli. It could have had more sauce but we were not fussy. My husband ordered Tiramisu for dessert. He thought mine was better but he ate the whole. Over all a great date night.

Very good date night dinner for my fiance and I. Went on dollar oyster night and sat in the lounge. Had 2 cocktails, the spicy marg and their take on a old fashioned neither of which I cared for that much but I tried them. We also had the calamari (very good) and the burger. A little undercooked when we ordered medium rare but I like rare anyhow and my girl let me finish it. Over all a very good night though.

We did the oyster shucking class and it did not disappoint! Do not eat before because that appetizers were plentiful and incredible! There was half of a lobster roll for every person with a bunch of other incredible bites to eat including a caviar cone. There was a nice charcuterie board as well as a fish pate. One drink of choice included with the ticket and I had an incredible cocktail. The staff overall was great, the class was simple, down to the point, with plenty of personal attention. Chef made us feel right at home and interacted with everyone. Right after the class you could stay for food and more incredible cocktails. I would recommend this as a great date night. Can't wait to come back and enjoy the full meal. Oysters were fresh with a good variety of choices.
