Best Restaurants with Bar Seating in Great Neck

Alex was a great waiter and delivered exceptional customer service! He was very accommodating to one of my party members food allergies and constantly checked in on my party. The staff is also very pleasant. The food was also VERY good and the music was very nice and vibrational. 10/10 recommend.

The staff is attentive and the food is consistently good. Always a pleasure to eat at Masaaki. They offer something for everyone.

Restaurant was decorated beautifully, high ceilings and open space. Staff was nice and attentive. Food was good, but some of the dishes were bland and we had to ask for salt and pepper as they didn't have any at the table. Towel was not clean and had lipstick stain, but staff was kind enough to change it immediately. Pricing was a little high for the dishes that were served in my humble opinion. Basically city prices out in Long Island. Considering the menu pricing I am surprised the restaurant did not serve bread at the table for dinner server. Overall experience was good however, it was nice to try once, but not sure if I'd return again as there are other comparable restaurants in the area at a better value.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. Delicious sushi with some Thai influences. Intimate setting. The chefs prepare the meal in front of you, they have a great sense of humor. They refill your sake continuously through the night. They are so welcoming and so clearly enjoy what they do! You leave feeling full but not uncomfortably so. It is a great value.

Dagim is a restaurant we hadn't tried yet and we saw that the reviews were overwhelmingly excellent. A quick scan of their menu suggested many good options for dinner so we made our reservations. When we walked in at 7:15 on a Saturday night there were only a few people dining (and the space is quite large). We wondered why it was so dead. We looked over the menu and ordered some drinks, an app and the main course. One person had the Mykonos Branzino, which was phenomenal. Another had the Dover Sole which was also stellar. I had the blackened salmon which ranks among the best pieces of salmon I have ever had. A large filet that the moist and seasoned perfectly. We definitely will be back and would recommend. Oh, and by the time we left, the place was absolutely packed with people. Guess we were just a bit early. Excellent meal!!
