Best Live Music Restaurants in Waukegan

The best steak and sides we’ve ever had at a resteraunt in our area. The steak is on a hot cast iron plate and stays warm throughout. The mashed potatoes taste like a twice baked without the skin. Serving size is plentiful. The waiter, busman, Chef, lady tending bar were so nice and always smiling. The design of dining room felt elegant. Their menu has various cuisines to choose from. We’ve been wanting to try Primo since they opened but never got around to it. Always navigating to places we’ve been. Well today is our anniversary and wanted to go somewhere special so we decided to eat at Primo. We are very happy that we made reservations. Primo is now our number one steakhouse!!!

Edelweiss serves up some of the best authentic German food and beer in the Chicago area. Everyone enjoyed their meal! You Must try the sauerkraut croquettes appetizer. The beer pretzels are huge and delicious. Truly the best German food that we’ve had in a long time.

Initial service was delayed but made up for with a very attentive waiter and our drinks were complementary. Loved the food choices we made.

Nirvana is a local treasure! Food is excellent at a reasonable price. The wine flight special was such a great experience - being able to taste 3 wines while enjoying dinner was fun. The live music was an added pleasure. The musician played lovely music at low volumes to add to a cozy atmosphere

We celebrated a birthday and the staff was extremely attentive and brought us some slices of cake to share too! We enjoyed sharing apps and main courses- everything was delicious.
