We love Eddie’s for our special events. Always amazing!! Today was no different. Thankful for all of the Eddie V’s who sacrificed their holiday to help us. ❤️❤️

Scratch Gourmet Kitchen delivers a warm, welcoming dining experience with personable, friendly, and attentive service. The thoughtfully crafted dishes are a perfect blend of creativity and flavor, each beautifully presented with an eye for detail. The extensive wine selection, paired with expert recommendations, complements the elevated menu. A destination for those who appreciate exceptional cuisine and refined hospitality. We enjoyed our experience at Scratch and wil definitely visit again when back in KS.

This was the first time my wife and I had been to J. Gilbert's and it was a wonderful experience. I had the Kansas City strip; it was juicy and very flavorful; one of the best steaks I've ever had. My wife had the crab cakes and loved them. Only one downside in the whole meal; the crab bisque soup was just too salty! I should have sent it back. The desserts were very tasty and presented so nicely. I had the chocolate fudge cake; it was soooo good! Service was impecable! We will definitely be back to J Gilbert's.

The food, service and overall experience was excellent! We had the Moderna salads with truffle bread to start. And had the shrimp pasta and halibut for main course. Both were very very good. We brought our daughter who is 2 and a half years old and the service was accommodating and really sweet with her. They made a mushroom pizza with a little red sauce for her and she loved it! This is our favorite restaurant in Kansas City.

My ultimate test for a restaurant is if it randomly pops in my head weeks later as I relish the memory of the meal & experience. Wandering Vine at The Castle meets that test. I am still thinking about the savory bone-in pork chop with demi-glace sauce, the decadent chestnut mushrooms, and the perfectly intense cocoa of the layered chocolate cake. I'm not going to lie, a part of me anticipates huge disappointment for every sad attempt of pork chops or chocolate cake from any other restaurant here after until I can return. Congratulations to the chef, owner and staff for creating and sharing a truly remarkable dining experience at The Castle!
