We opted for the traditional tea set, and I chose the caramel pear tea, which was subtly sweet and fragrant—perfect for a cozy afternoon. The desserts? Absolute perfection. Every single one was beautifully crafted and delicious. The sandwiches were just okay, but let’s be honest—the real stars were the scones. Fresh from the oven, warm, flaky, and paired perfectly with the lemon curd and raspberry jam. If you’re looking for an elevated tea experience in LA, this is it. Highly recommend!

This is the second time I come here for a girls tea time. Both times have been great! I will definitely be returning in the future. I found the place via Instagram through a friends posting. It looked cute, yummy, and calm, so I decided to check it out. I was looking for a place to catch up with my cousin and this seemed perfect. Very happy I went with this. They are welcoming. They explain to you the menu and how it works. All the sandwiches are yummy. The sconces are tasty! The tea, let me tell you. I didn’t grow up much with tea but u e come to like over the years. However the mixes that Sugarbird does…man oh man, I have yet to try one that I don’t like. Same for my cousins, they never really drink tea but they loved it at Sugarbird. The outdoor seating is cute. It’s in a quiet neighborhood. It’s just very peaceful. For the price, the experience, the tea, and sandwiches/sconces, it is a good deal. Inside the cafe it’s very cute as well. One restroom, and very clean. Parking is on the street, they have some right across from the little alley.
