Best Restaurants with Great Beer in San Jose

I loved their Jägerschnitzel mit Unserer Speziellen Pilzsoße, Hausegemachten Spätzle ($24.00), which is a breaded pork cutlet with a white wine mushroom sauce served with homemade noodles. The sauce was rich and flavorful. My husband had their Schweinshaxe mit Kartoffelsalat und Sauerkraut ($34.00) - baked pork shank with potato salad and sauerkraut. It was huge and very tender! We completed our meal with desserts. Their Bienenstich (Bee Sting Cake) is divine! We also had their Sacher Torte. The service was good, but our server seemed busy. Great selection of German beers.

The server and restaurant staff were very welcoming for our conference group (even last minute). The food was delicious and the menu had something for everyone to enjoy! I loved the tacos--tomato soup-amazing rosemary biscuits. Our group highly recommends!!

Service was great, food was even better! We appreciated that they came around several times to make sure we were good, appreciate that, food was served in a timely manner and delicious, first time taking my grown kids and they loved it.

This was a truly delightful experience. The food and service were perfect. Two of us had the bratwurst with braised sauerkraut (technically a "snack" ler the menu) but it was more than plenty for lunch. The braised kraut was ethereal. Others had the chicken schnitzel sandwich and the classic Wienerschnitzel, which came with Austrian-style dilled potato salad and lingonberry sauce for garnish. Dessert was a ridiculously perfect apple strudel with the whipped-cream "football", an art in and of itself. Highly recommended!
