Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Cherry Hill

From the moment we walked in and they held the door open for us to quickly being greeted and sat at our reserved table it was wonderful. The appetizers were tasty. We had the Estia chips, octopus, and the beets. Our meals were served hot and in a timely fashion. We had the lamb chops, the sea bass, and the chicken dish. Everything was done well and they gave us the necessary attention without being overbearing. All of the food was tasty and no need to add anything to enhance the flavors. It is fine dining and the price reflects that but it is worth the splurge.

Celebrated Valentine’s Day with my partner. The food and cocktails were both amazing. We started with the poached pear and goat cheese appetizer, which was very good. Only complaint maybe just a little too much balsamic.  we both ordered the 8 ounce filet mignon both of us with steak butter. I added the lump crab to mine. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the lump crab was generous. For sides we got the lyonnaise potatoes and creamed spinach. Both were delicious and generous portions which were perfect for sharing between 2 people. For dessert, we split the chocolate layer cake, which was phenomenal. Debra was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I asked her to write a message on the plate and she did and it was exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend this restaurant and make sure to be seated in Debra‘s section. She was beyond friendly, very knowledgeable with the menu offered recommendations and chatted with us between courses. You will not be disappointed. This has quickly become one of my favorite places. The food is delightful. The staff is amazing. The atmosphere is greatly unique. For an intimate dining experience of two to a larger group of friends out for some drinks and dinner The Cage offers it all. The main dining area includes booths, high tops, the bar, and a caged table for a bigger party that seems to sit 8-10 people. The main area is decorated in what I would say is the Garden of the Hesperides meets Wonderland. There is a separate dining room as well that is tucked away from the noise that has a beautiful fireplace and a large crafted canoe suspended from the ceiling. The drink menu plays off Greek mythology and the food menu offers a variety of dishes to suit even the most picky eaters pallet.

Our server, Brooke was fantastic always attentive. The appetizers crab dip and calamari were tasty and served hot. The crab dip was a tad skimpy as it came in a bread bowl. However, the bread is above average and all of our six people enjoyed the bread at the table and the bread bowl as well. Want to say that the drinks were amazing. We had a chocolate old-fashioned and a chocolate martini. Both were excellent sandwiches were above average and the Greek lemon chicken soup is excellent as always.!

Just an overall good experience… our waitress constantly checked in on us along with the manager… food was delicious
