- AAmyHawaii •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoSecond time testing this anchor to the Ladera scene. The pappardelle with lamb ragu is excellent —enjoy the mushrooms and the surprise olives. The pizza is outstanding. Served piping hot but not burned, this is thin-crust pizza at its best. More ingredients on top than a true Napolitan pizza but an excellent compromise between Italian sensibilities and Silicon Valley taste buds.More infoPortola BistroPrice: Moderate• European• Portola Valley•4.2
- CCherylSan Francisco Bay Area •7 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoExcellent customer service. One of the new partners in the restaurant came to our table and talked about their vision. When he had to leave the restaurant unexpectedly, he made sure someone came back to our table to find out how our meal had been. Food was also excellent. There were just enough options on the menu—not too few or too many choices. We will definitely return!More infoRoja Los AltosPrice: Expensive• Californian• Los Altos•4.5

- MmamabearvipSan Francisco Bay Area •16 reviews5.0Dined on 14 Nov 2024We sat outside, so there was some street noise, but we enjoyed the European cafe feel. Our server was really friendly, attentive and helpful with her food descriptions. We munched on warm herbed rolls and decided to order The Thor as a nod to my friend’s Norwegian heritage. It was a trio of Scandinavian apps including pickled herring, smoked salmon and a pork pate. Everything tasted very fresh and went well with our second first course choice, the baked goat cheese crepe served with a tasty green salad, sugared walnuts and shaved Parmesan cheese. The two dishes were plenty for lunch, but we still had room for the chocolate pots de crème served with whipped cream and fresh strawberries. Excellent in every way, we will be back to try the French onion soup and intriguing main courses next time!More infoNonni's BistroPrice: Moderate• European• Pleasanton•4.8
