Best Restaurants for Foodies in Cabo San Lucas

We absolutely love Metate! We have to go every time we’re in town. The food. The setting. The service. Omar is our favorite waiter and we’re always excited to see him!!

It was incredible as always but there was a large table of loud Americans whose noise prohibited us from hearing the singer.

Very expensive... choice of 3 course dinner for $115 per person, 5 course for $153 per person, and 7 course for $175 (ish). Choice of 2 items for each course. We had 3 scallops each, which were good but got cold quickly. 2nd course was truffle fettuccine or wagyu beef ravioli (3). Fettuccine was the best, and the same comment about eating quickly before it gets cold. The 3rd course was fish. We had sea bass with lobster sauce. It was very good. The 4th course was meat (BTW, there was a vegetarian menu from which you could choose to replace any course). We both had fillets, and my was good because I avoided the sauce (no clue what it was), my partner hated hers because she got the sauce all over it. Dessert was the final course. We had tiramisu. It should have been called disassembled tiramisu. 4 coffee-soaked lady fingers, then mascarpone, then chocolate powder. The worst we've ever had. The house specialty drinks were $23 and up. We each had one, very good. We got a glass of wine each for $21, reasonable. We also had the smallest Grey Goose matinis I've ever had (maybe 1.5 oz?) for $23 each. Our tab with 20% tip came to $450. The sunset was SPECTACULAR, but we I'll never go back to Sunset Monalisa.

Benny was amazing!! Super sweet and took great care of us. We had the corn that was out of this world and the chicken sandwich which was delicious- only thing Id change is put the chipotle mayo sauce that came with the fries on the sandwich instead of the other sauce that was on it.

This place was so cool and fun! We went here for dinner for my sister’s bachelorette and we all LOVED it so much! Wish we could have stayed longer. We had another reservation somewhere else and had to leave after dinner. They had amazing food, service, a fire show and music!! Nothing but good things to say about this place! It also was beautiful and had a great ambiance!
