- LLindavipWashington, D.C. Area •30 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI love this restaurant. However, today my pasta dish was room temperature. That's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. We were greeted with a friendly smile from the hostess. Our waitress, Rocio was outstanding. Excellent service.More infoFirebirds Wood Fired Grill - SpringfieldPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Springfield•4.4

- JJudyWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoAfter hearing such positive feedback about Afghan Bistro I decided to try it . I made a reservation to ensure I would get seating for3 people . I found the atmosphere to be quite pleasing , quiet , peaceful & understated . It is in an area where there is a heavy industrial vibe , do not let that deterr you from going inside , once inside , you`ll find this location is not a big space . Personally , I like a smaller, less noisy , envirnoment when dining out , so I can carry on a conversation without screaming across the table . The food server greeted us when we arrived ,then escorted us to our seats . He was very hospitiable & very knowledgeable about the selections on the menu . He asked if we had any special requests or if we needed any special care in food prep ( gluten or lactose allergies , if anyone was vegan or vegetarian etc ) . He made some suggestions on the menu that proved to be beneficial.. The food came out quickly after ordering it and it was delicious . This is defintely not your typical Kabob place , the selections on the menu are much more unique , not only did it taste amazing ,the presentation was beautiful . The portions are enough to share if one wanted to , but we opted for separate entrees so we could take have the leftovers . Overall I was impressed with the quality , the service, the prices were reasonable and the " vibe " of the place was great ...you can even get a glass of wine or a cocktail if desired . Great little place ! this location is 1 of 4 locations , I`d like to try them all it was so good .More infoAfghan BistroPrice: Moderate• Afghan• Springfield•4.9
- KKerryWashington, D.C. Area •25 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWhile the menu might look common place, it's the quality of the ingredients and thoughtfulness of the preparation that makes Ruthie's outstanding, and a neighborhood gem. We were greeted like family, service was attention and professional while informal and friendly. The wood fire grilled branzino was outstanding -- hot, moist, perfectly seasoned. Each dish, while familiar in concept, has a surprise twist that is so pleasing.More infoRuthie's All-DayPrice: Moderate• American• Arlington•4.8
