Best Indian Restaurants in Rosemont

We visited the Ohare location. Maharaj Grill is a wonderful option for authentic, delicious indian fare. We started our meal with complimentary papadum and two sauces which were delicious and a perfect start. The appetizer Aloo Tika with Chana was so delicious and the right level of spice. The silky and creamy chicken tikka masala (mild) was delicious - I will try the medium spice next time! The Palak Paneer was wonderful - I highly recommend it. We paired both with Jeera Rice and a naan bread basket. The Naan was THE BEST I have ever had. Made in their own tandoori oven on site, it was so fresh, so soft, and just delicious (be warned - the bread basket could feed 4-5!). Highly recommend a trip there!

Amazing food and great ambiance. The servers came by often to give us new plates and silverware. We had the octopus sopecitos, lamb biriyani, chai and rasmali tres leches cake and they were all so delicious. We will definitely be coming back!

Outstanding 6-course tasting menu! My vegetarian friend and I were both accomodated beautifully. Some of the finest Indian cuisine I've ever tasted. Each course was stunning to look at, with an astonishing array of flavors and textures. Kudos to the chef!

First, the interior ambiance is very nice. We were greeted immediately and seated. Service was extremely friendly throughout our entire time there. The food is outstanding, and is the best Indian food we've had across the northern suburbs. They had an incredible variety, from Dosa to Idly to the most popular dishes, and items that I generally only have when I'm in India. Amazing!

My two Colleen’s in the area for work and found this place last minute. We are so grateful! What a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant is beautiful, the service was excellent, and the food delivered on every level. Thank you Mantra! We will be back.
