Best French Canadian Restaurants in Ancaster

We had a beyond incredible dinner and experience at The Friendly Society tonight. We shared two dishes (chicken sandwich with poutine and Mac and cheese) and the whole drive home we couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was. We couldn’t pick a favourite thing. The restaurant has such a great vibe and is beautifully decorated for the holidays. Our server was very friendly, helpful and so good at her job, which added to the whole experience. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

We had a lovely time at Lucie. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The food was just amazing. Every bite was delightful. I especially loved the bison on the tasting menu. Thanks for a great meal!

Attended this lovely restaurant for a birthday celebration. They had an evening feature menu as well as their regular menu. We shared a beet & goat cheese salad. One person had their perfectly cooked lamb shank the other person had their salmon with a hoisin glaze. rice, green peas and bok choy. Shared a lemon cheese cake. All entrees were perfectly cooked and delicious. They also have an extensive wine list. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Excellent as always! Great food, service and venue

Loved every dish we ordered! Everything was perfectly seasoned and well balanced. To top it off the servers were friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back!
